I just wanted to take a minute and congratulate the staff and developers at BobCAD/CAM, for the outstanding improvements in the new version 18 software!
Here at Delgado Solutions, we specialize in prototype injection molds, as well as production CNC machining. When we first started using BobCAD three years ago, we had only one small CNC mill... We have now grown into two CNC vertical machining centers, a CNC plasma cutter, and a CNC lathe. We have been using BobCAD as our primary CAD/CAM on an average of 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. (we have 3 licenses) So far we have posted over 17 million lines of G code with BobCAD. After logging nearly 5000 hours running BobCAD V17 (you just can't wear it out) we had created a wish list, of features we felt would greatly improve our productivity... fewer mouse clicks, customizable tool bars, multiple views, dynamic rotation & panning, and color coded posts were on the top of the list... As you are aware, we ordered our upgrade to version 18 FedEx overnight...
I am pleased to say that the new version exceeds our hopes and expectations!!!
The long list of new features is EXCELLENT!!!
We are looking forward to logging in another 5000 hours, and are proud to be using BobCAD!
